18% interest will be charged on all accounts in excess of thirty days. All mares left more than 30 days, without prior agreement, will be charged double boarding fee.

A Photocopy of registration papers (both sides), a veterinarian’s health certificate, including uterine culture, worming, and immunization records. If these are not presented upon mare’s arrival, the breeder shall have the attending veterinarian make proper tests and evaluations at the mare owner’s expense. Flu and rhinopneumonitis vaccine must be given before the mare arrives.

The Mare Owner shall agree that each mare offered for breeding shall be in sound breeding condition and free from infection or disease. Any mare certified by the attending veterinarian not to be, in his opinion, in sound breeding condition, shall not be bred. Mare Owner may substitute another mare within that breeding season.

The Breeder agrees to diligently try to bred and settle the above named mare. Mare will only be bred by Artificial Insemination. If however, the mare does not bred or does not settle, The breeder or Stallion owner shall be held harmless.

Live Color Foal Guarantee. Live foal means the foal shall stand and nurse, It is understood that if the mare proves barren, aborts her foal or if the foal is stillborn, a return season will be guaranteed the following year only, providing proper notification is given. Proper notification shall be defined as follows: Written certification by a licensed veterinarian within seven days that the mare has slipped or produced a non-viable foal. Mare Owner certifies that such abortion or death did not result from any act or omission of the Owner subsequent to the mares departure for Breeding farm. If you get a Breeding Stock Foal you have the right to a free rebreed. Chute fee, Shipping Fee and Mare Care is not included in free rebreed. Chute fee of $150.00 for on ranch mare must be paid at the time mare arrives at Chafin’s Painted Acres. Shipping fee of $200.00 for rebreed must be paid before any shipped semen will be sent. This offer is only for the year mare foaled. This is a one time free rebreed, and can only be used on above said mare (with exception in if mare expires before foaling).

Waiver of Liability. It is understood that the breeding farm, its owners, employees, veterinarians, and guests shall not be liable for any injury, escape, disability, or death of any horse on its premises. The above named mare owner, whose horse (s) are under the care of the breeding farm will not be liable or responsible for any damage, injury or death to the breeding farm stallions, employees, veterinarians, or other animals in the care of breeding farm whether or not caused by his horse. Both parties agree that should above-named stallion die, be sold by the owner, or become unfit for service, that mare owner will be granted a breeding to another stallion, or Stud Fee, no booking will be repaid. Or if mare dies or becomes unfit to breed before being pronounced safe in foal, that breeder will accept another mare as replacement.

The breeding season in force for this contract shall begin Feb. 1^st and close July 30^th of the year covered by this contract.

A breeding certificate will be issued to mare owner after all expenses have been paid in full and upon notification of birth of the foal.

The booking fee is non-refundable no matter what the circumstance.

Mare Owner is to have mare ultrasound 14 to 18 days after last breeding date or Stallion owner or breeding manager will not rebred above mare and your money won’t be refunded if mare owner neglects to have mare checked. This is to check for twins and to see if mare is in foal or is going to be coming back in. This ultrasound has to be done. Otherwise mare owner forfeits all breeding rights. Mare owner is to contact Stallion owner as soon as ultrasound is done with results within 8 hours.

With Shipped Semen Mare Owner is to contact Stallion Owner Daily while mare is breeding. This is to keep us updated on what your mare is doing, so we can better serve you and your mare. Please call the day your mare starts to show heat.

All mares will be A.I. No live cover. Mare Owner is responsible for all veterinarian cost. Expect at least two ultrasounds and at least two inseminations. We will do our best to keep cost down.

When the above named mare owner signs and returns one copy of this contract and Booking Fee to the Owner or Breeder it will then be a binding contract on both parties, subject to the terms and conditions. This contract is not valid unless completed in full.

Board per day will be $10 for above mare.

Send breeding contract and shipped semen contract to 30600 Merry Ln, Lebanon, OR. 97355. All donated stud fees will have a Chute fee of $150.00 . This covers collecting fee for stallion and handling fees per heat for mare.

First shipment or first collection is included in above fees.
