Here are some emails from some of our clients.

Rhonda,
Thought I would give you a little update on Dawn. She made her show career
Debut at one of the largest shows in Canada last weekend - Zone 10 Paint
O'Rama. Unofficially she earned 4 APHA Novice Amateur Showmanship points,
and 1 APHA Amateur Showmanship Point. We are so extremely happy with her.
She was up against 14 horses in each class and all of them were seasoned
show horses that have been doing showmanship for over 5 years. Being the
ONLY two year old in the Novice Amateur Class and one of two 2 Yr. Olds in
the Amateur Showmanship class (the other two year old didn't place under ANY
of the judges). She was started under saddle in the spring, but we decided
to leave her for riding for the rest of the year as she is growing so much.
I measured her last week and she is standing at 15.2 HH with her hip being
at 16.0 HH. She is going to be a big girl. All summer she hasn't balanced
out once she just keeps shooting up and up and up. Depending on how she is
this fall, in possibly October or November we might get the trainer back on
her then, if not we will wait until February or March to start riding her
again. She is really hunterish right now but when she slows down and does
her lil pleasure job, she just floats. And her lope is to die for!!!!!!!
I haven't got our website done yet, but tons of people have been asking me
about her and how she did so I did up a page for her on our site that you
can take a look at. There is a video on there and a couple of pictures to
take a look at. Thought you might be interested in seeing her now that she
is all grown up.

The next show on the list will be in Camrose, Alberta in the middle of
September and then Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan at the end of September. Our goal
is to earn her ROM in showmanship as a 2 year old. We got a little later
start this year, but she is talented enough to pull it off in only a couple of
shows. We will
let you know how those shows go for us.
Yes, and sorry about not getting back to you about breeding this year. We
ended up having the motor in our truck go on us and actually it still
isn't fixed, but we went out and had to buy a new one. A lot of things got put
off with having to fork out the money for a new truck. So we are all ready for
breeding next year, have talked to the Equine Veterinarian Clinic in
Sherwood Park, Alberta and they know we are coming with a load of mares
next spring. We have had TONS of people asking where Dawn came from, or do we
have any more of her (cause I refuse to sell her). So I gave the people
your information - you never know you might have some more people from up here
to breed to next year.
Well, let me know what you think of her. Can't wait to hear your feed back.
Talk to ya soon,

Rhonda,
Thanks for forwarding that e-mail to me. She is gorgeous!! Guess what?
I actually ended up with 9 Longe Line points!!! Just 1 more!!! Yeah!!
Jim Borvedt was there taking pictures so Mickey and Me got all cleaned up
and got a bunch of pictures. I can't wait for the proofs.
I walked him around yesterday and had 2 people stop me and ask who he was
by. A lot of people comment on how cute he is.
Well, I'll send you pictures as soon as I get them.
Talk to you soon,
Christy

Rhonda,
Just a quick note of thanks for being at Rancho. I enjoyed meeting you,
your
daughter and Willy. I'm impressed with Willy's fantastic demeanor.
He's a
kind and gentle soul. Sorry I had so little time to visit. Way lots
to do
and then had to get home. Attached are the photos from Rancho you
requested.
Hope they turn out for you. Let me know. Take care and we'll visit
real
soon, K? ~ Brenda
